We found out last night that they had to move a polling place that has traditionally been in a church in Rapid City because the pastor was refusing to remove the "Yes for Life" sign. Aparently the sign is down now, but the polling place has moved anyway.

Just got back to the office after walking turf - it was pretty friendly territory. We hit about 140 houses. Lots of people saying they are already with us. Now I'm off to make more phone calls.

There were no campaign events scheduled this morning because -- i was told -- everyone is at church on Sunday morning. So I figured I'd make like a local. I chose the Episcopal Church because Working Assets customer and No on 6 volunteer - Caitlin - was giving the sermon. She is studying for the priesthood, but her vocation is law. Her daughter -- another No on 6 volunteer -- is a first year law

Yesterday was Halloween. I took my four-year-old daughter trick or treating dressed up as a tiger. But not until after I stood in line in the basement of San Francisco’s grand City Hall..
